September Retreat Cancelled

Sometimes there is more to do in life than what we can actually manage. Until the day where we can be in two places at once, we must make a choice.  It was a hard choice but we have had to cancel the True Colors Yoga & Meditation Retreat this September.  Please consider joining Marisa and Maggie in Truth or Consequences this January instead.  We hope to practice with you soon!

A lovely time at our Ghost Ranch retreat

Its been a few weeks and we have all settled back into regular life now.  But our time at Ghost Ranch remains with us ... a beautiful vista, a deep breath, a kind word from a friend - these are the things that characterized our latest Breathe New Life Into Your Life retreat.
On Friday, arrivals trickled in and most of us found each other at dinner time.  It was nice to reunite with old friends and new over a meal.  Then we were on to yoga!  Walking over to our yoga space in the Lower Pavilion required gawking at the scenery around us, of course.  Our first practice was all about settling in, opening our bodies and deepening our breath at this high altitude.

After a good night's sleep it was an early wake-up call to make breakfast before our workshop practice. Three hours of detailed pranayama, discussion, asana and yoga nidra later, we were ready to explore Ghost Ranch for the afternoon. The group split up, many taking the Georgia O'Keefe landscape tour, others hiking the intense Kitchen Mesa or wandering leisurely to admire the beauty and beautiful day.  Another practice in the evening rounded out our day with more asana, pranayama and meditation.
And then it was our last morning.  Altogether too short, our time together.  Our last practice was geared at integrating techniques and recognizing how we were able to support and nurture ourselves over the course of the weekend.

Goodbyes are always bittersweet... it was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of your practice and guide your yoga experience.  Hope to see you all at our next retreat (Sept in the Gila)!!!
